Opening session initiating a strategic dialogue for East & Central Africa mining sector development as well as featuring Rwanda’s mining sector potential.

A regional and international focus - Invite regional Chambers of Mines and Ministries of Mines to share opportunities, best practices and strategies as well as “pitch” their industry to investors looking at East & Central Africa mining opportunities. 

Ministerial Forum

RMB to invite Ministers from Ministries of Mines from Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar and Uganda in order to share and discuss policies and regulations and how they could be aligned to facilitate trade and minerals export.

The forum would take place during East & Central Africa Mining Summit with a draft agenda and drafted recommendations that would be followed up in 2020 edition. 

Chambers of Mines Briefing

Based on the existing Mining Industry Association of Southern Africa (MIASA), the goal would be to gather all the Chambers of Mines from Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Madagascar to manage the common issues and challenges faced in the mining private arena, and incentive greater collaboration between the private actors and suppliers of the mining industry in East & Central Africa

Free knowledge-packed ASM sessions

We propose free to attend sessions targeted to visitors from the Rwandan ASM market on the exhibition floor to enhance their practical expertise and increase their productivity.

Site visit

Objective is to sensitise international and local companies to the current level of mining project in Rwanda in the view of developing new projects and be familiar with the commodities and resources available
